Overview

Are you a caring and compassionate Registered Nurse or about to qualify? We are recruiting for a permanent full-time Band 5 staff nurse on Ward 7 BGH Reablement Hub, our established reablement ward. You will help provide high quality, safety-driven nursing care as part of a team.

About Ward 7

Ward 7 is a reablement ward where we strive to enable patients to achieve independence following an admission to an acute ward, with the aim to enable patients to return home. As a registered nurse you will be responsible for the safe admission of transferred patients and safe discharge planning.

What you\'ll do
  • Work on a rotational shift basis, including days and nights.
  • Be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team comprising Doctors, Nurses, Health Care Assistants and Therapists, delivering patient-centered care.
  • Participate in assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care.
  • Provide information to patients and carers; contribute to complex discharge planning; and make referrals to other disciplines.
  • Lead nurse-led falls assessments and identify risk factors to reduce the risk of further falls.
