About the Role

As a Band 5 Nurse in our Neonatal Unit, you will be part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team providing specialist care to newborns who require intensive, high‑dependency, or special‑care support. As a Band 5 Neonatal Nurse, you will:

  • Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence‑based care to neonates and their families.
  • Monitor and respond to changes in infant conditions, administering treatments and medications as required.
  • Provide parents with education, reassurance, and meaningful involvement in their baby’s care journey.
  • Collaborate with consultants, midwives, and allied health professionals to form a cohesive and effective multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to professional standards.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and neonatal‑specific training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
