Job description

Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic Band 5 nurses to join our friendly team in the Endoscopy unit. You will be trained in admission, assisting with procedures, recovery and discharge for patients having endoscopic procedures such as OGD, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy and ERCP. You will gain skills in cannulation, recovering patients from sedation, giving post‑procedure advice and obtaining knowledge on different endoscopic procedures carried out in the department.

Responsibilities

To deliver a high standard of nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. The post holders will be responsible for the assessment of patient care needs, and the implementation and evaluation of the programme of care. The post holders are required to work as part of a team committed to delivering and improving a high standard of nursing care within South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust.
