The candidate should have an Endoscopy or Gastroenterology background, with a keen interest in the Gastroenterology Services.

Main duties of the job

A post has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic and organised individual to join a well-established Endoscopy Team. You will need to be a qualified RN and possess significant work experience. You will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have an innovative, flexible approach to developing and challenging nursing practice. You will need to work on your own initiative and be able to cope under pressure. There is a pre-assessment and out of hours emergency element to the post so flexibility is essential.

About us

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is an integrated Trust and the only provider of NHS acute care in Walsall, serving a population of 284,300. It provides inpatient and outpatient services at the Manor Hospital as well as a wide range of services in the community. Walsall Manor houses the full range of district general hospital services under one roof. The £170 million development was completed in 2010, and ongoing upgrades ensure the Trust now has state-of-the-art facilities, including a Critical Care Unit, Neonatal Unit, Obstetric Theatre, and Integrated Assessment Unit. • Must demonstrate a knowledge of the role and responsibilities of the post must be conversant with nursing aspects of Outpatients Department.
• Must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of professional responsibilities.
