Staff Nurse, Cardiology - Prince Charles Hospital

The closing date is 18 December 2025.

The successful candidate will work within a 24‑bed ward delivering a high standard of care to all patients. Being part of the Cardiology team you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge and work across Cardiology services, including the Cardiac Day Care Unit.

Main duties of the job

The opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic individuals to join a team of experienced nurses working on our cardiology ward. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge by nursing patients with acute cardiac conditions and caring for patients previously cared for in our Cardiac Care Unit. You will also work across cardiology services, including the Cardiac Care Unit and Cardiac Day Care Unit, and with patients who are rehabilitating with various cardiac conditions. The posts are rotational between day and night duty (except in the Day Care Unit).

Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This does not mean essential; we will consider it an advantage when short‑listing and selecting candidates. This isn’t 'fluency', just speaking & listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above.
