The post will contribute to the configuration and development, including the enhancement of SITS during the configuration/build stage to implement SITS, ensuring that user requirements are accurately captured and translated into formal configuration and development specifications.

The post holder will understand data structures in SITS and apply good practice from SITS to any configuration or development undertaken. The post holder will need to make decisions on the best way to deliver agreed configuration and development work packages, then write clear and coherent code where necessary. The postholder will also need to work with colleagues across the University to ensure that the configuration and development work packages are fit for purpose. The configuration and development of SITS functionality require an understanding of academic processes, programme and award frameworks, and academic regulations. This is a crucial role that will play a key part in areas such as data management, data quality, and data integration.

This post will be fully remote, with occasional visits to the University\'s Waterside Campus in Northampton, as agreed with the manager. The Waterside Campus is a bright and modern campus built within the last 5 years.
