Qualifications

  • Knowledge of relevant fire safety standards and engineering practices.
  • Experience in project management within construction settings.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project initiation/handover meetings with all stakeholders.
  • Produce and maintain project programs and documentation.
  • Communicate with clients throughout all project phases.
  • Attend internal project Cost To Complete (CTC) meetings.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Skills

Knowledge of BS EN 12845 & LPS1048 Schemes
Knowledge of engineering drawings
LPCB Site Inspection Module 1 Competent
Familiarity with Prince 2 project management principles
Experience managing complex, large-budget projects in construction
Experience managing on-site labour & resources
Valid SMSTS & CSCS Card
Knowledge of CDM Management Principles
Extensive experience producing project documentation such as RAMs, Quality Plans, Project Plans
Proficiency in MS Office applications
Commercial acumen to identify and maximize project cost savings

Job Description:

Summary of Role

You will deliver Fire Sprinkler projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.

What you will be doing

  • Leading project initiation/handover meetings with all stakeholders including Sales, Design, QS.
  • Producing and maintaining the project programme.
  • Communicating with clients throughout the project.
  • Attending internal project Cost To Complete (CTC) meetings.
  • Completing and submitting all end-of-project documentation such as O&M manuals, As-Fitted Drawings, Certification.
  • Supporting and managing on-site resources, ensuring issues are resolved and the programme is maintained.
  • Conducting & recording on-site inspections in accordance with EHS001 scheduled frequency.
  • Completing all H&S related documentation including RAMs, attendance sheets, etc.

What we need from you (all essential)

  • Knowledge of BS EN 12845 & LPS1048 Schemes.
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings.
  • LPCB Site Inspection Module 1 Competent.
  • Familiarity with Prince 2 project management principles.
  • Experience managing complex, large-budget projects in construction.
  • Experience managing on-site labour & resources.
