About the Role

Location: Monmouthshire, South Wales
Pay Rate: £89.38 per day
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract: Full academic year

Are you passionate about working with young people and using sport to inspire and motivate?

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Sporty Teaching Assistant to support students at one of our partner secondary schools in Monmouthshire. This role is ideal for someone energetic and enthusiastic about using physical activity and teamwork to help pupils stay focused, build confidence, and overcome barriers to learning.

You’ll work closely with students who need extra encouragement, acting as a positive role model and helping them engage more fully with their education. Whether it’s through mentoring, active sessions, or supporting in class, you’ll make a real impact on their wellbeing and progress.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a school setting, support young people who need it most, and bring your passion for sport and youth development into the classroom.
