Speech and Language Therapist - SEN School

Location : Chertsey, Surrey

Start Date : ASAP

Salary : Qualified Pay Scale (Banding dependent on experience)

Contract : Full-time | Long-term / Permanent opportunities considered

Tempest Resourcing is currently working in partnership with a specialist SEN school in Chertsey to recruit a qualified Speech and Language Therapist for an immediate start.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, multidisciplinary team within a well‑resourced setting that caters for children and young people with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, speech and communication difficulties, and associated learning needs.

The Role :
  • Deliver high‑quality speech and language therapy to pupils across the school
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualised therapy programmes
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to support pupil progress
  • Contribute to EHCP targets and review processes
  • Support pupils' communication, social interaction, and emotional development
The Ideal Candidate :
  • Holds a recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Is HCPC registered
  • Has experience working with children and / or young people with SEN (school‑based experience preferred)
  • Demonstrates strong communication, organisational, and collaborative skills
  • Is available to start ASAP
