At Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT), we deliver a wide range of physical, mental health, learning disability and autism services, and are proud to serve communities across Coventry, Warwickshire and beyond.
We put 'people at our heart'; this ethos is at the centre of everything we do and how we do it. We care for our staff and colleagues as much as they care for others and offer a wide range of benefits and development opportunities.
We're always on the lookout for people who share our passion for improving the lives and wellbeing of people in our community, as well as our values of compassion, collaboration, excellence, integrity and respect.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities:
As a team we work systemically to understand and support the significant impact and challenges experienced by adults with autism who are in mental health crisis, and their families.
In order to do this, we work with the network around the adult (e.g. Adult Mental Health, Social Care, Education) and work closely with commissioners. As a speech and language therapist nurse you will have experience of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working as you will need to attend and chair regular MDTs, CETRs and EMDTs.
As a Speech and Language Therapist you would visit the adult in their home or in appropriate setting multiple times a week to engage them and carry out our assessments and interventions.
This is an exciting time to join our Team as we mature and expand and continue to look for innovative ways to support the families we work with. If you are passionate and motivated and are driven to prevent children and adults with autism and mental health needs from being admitted to hospital, then we want to hear from you.
