Job description
Overview

Position: Speech and Language Therapist

Location: London, W1G

Role: Permanent / Part Time (2-3 days per week)

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum

Hours: Full Time

Our client is a private specialist clinic on prestigious Harley Street in the heart of London recruiting for paediatric occupational therapists who specialise in sensory integration. The clinic celebrates its 20th year in 2025, and these new roles enable the growth plan to expand the clinic and operations with private partners, such as local councils, schools, medical collaborations and organisations helping their families with neurodivergent children.

The Speech and Language Therapist is to be the first SLT employed in the clinic, starting part time and building that part of the practice to add other practitioners and go full time. Targeted salary £55-60,000, pro-rated for part time.

Role purpose: The client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) to join their team. The therapist will play a key role in assessing and treating children with speech, language, and communication disorders. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized therapy plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions to help children reach their full potential. The therapist will work closely with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, child-centred care.

Salary context: The client regularly reviews salaries across clinical settings in the UK and strives to remain competitive for top talent. They usually pay above UK NHS pay bands.

Benefits and support

Pension Scheme: Our client operates along the UK government guidelines and utilises the pension scheme through NEST and contributes 3% of employees’ salary to the scheme on their behalf, while they are automatically enrolled to contribute 5% of their salary. There is an opting-out option if they prefer to not make contributions to the scheme.

Leave and holidays: Employees will immediately access 20 days of paid leave in addition to the UK bank holidays throughout the year for time to refresh and renew.

Learning and development: A personalised development plan will support employee goals with guidance and support from the expertise available. The Clinical Director and CEO is a world-renowned specialist and will be providing Sensory Integration training.
