Join our expert multidisciplinary team at Hothfield Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre, part Active Neuro – our newly launched specialist division – dedicated to supporting individuals with acquired or traumatic brain injury and other neurological conditions.

The role

As a Band 5 SLT, you will:

• Support the assessment and treatment of adults with communication and swallowing difficulties
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions under supervision
• Contribute to goal-setting and therapy planning in collaboration with the wider MDT
• Be supported to develop skills in managing aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia, cognitive-communication disorder, and dysphagia
• Participate in supervision, reflective practice and training opportunities
• Take an active role in service development and clinical discussions
• Ensure that patient care is safe, effective, and in line with national guidelines

About you

For this role, we’re looking for someone with:

• HCPC registration
• Experience from placements or previous work in neurological settings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for working with adults with acquired/traumatic brain injury
• A willingness to learn and grow within a supportive team
• Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
