A leading healthcare provider in Luton is seeking a Specialty Doctor in Psychiatry to join their Inpatient Team. You will work closely with a consultant psychiatrist in a multidisciplinary team, assessing and managing mental health issues. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in psychiatry and ideally be Section 12 approved. We are seeking to recruit an ambitious and motivated specialty Doctor in Psychiatry to join our Inpatient Team in Luton and Bedfordshire. The post-holder will work under the supervision of a consultant psychiatrist and will be integral to a multidisciplinary team, accessing local CPD activities as appropriate. The post-holder will have the opportunity to rotate through different posts on a yearly basis according to service needs, offering opportunities for developing clinical expertise across a range of specialities. The Specialty grade doctor will work closely with the consultant psychiatrist and Multi Disciplinary team, and will provide clinical support for the assessment and management of mental health problems on a routine and emergency basis. On average 9 Programmed Activities per week will be devoted to Direct Clinical Care.
Successful applicants will have at least 3 years of experience working in psychiatry, and will ideally be Section 12 approved.
