  • Conduct daily ward rounds, manage inpatient and outpatient care, and engage in on-call duties.
Job description

We are looking to appoint a new Specialty Doctor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. You will join a team working closely alongside our Consultants and other Specialty Doctors.

The post comprises 10 programmed activities (PAs), which could be modified for a candidate preferring to work 10 PAs or less than full time.

Responsibilities
  • Day to day running of the labour ward, obstetric wards and gynaecology wards.
  • Regular gynaecology theatre sessions with the team consultant.
  • Running of the ante-natal and gynaecological clinics to participate in the department’s teaching, audit, and educational activities.
  • Daily ward rounds, inpatient and outpatient management of patients, operating lists and on call.
