Overview

We are seeking a Specialty Doctor in Anaesthesia to join our enthusiastic team of expert anaesthetists. The position focuses on delivering excellent patient care, supporting quality improvement, leadership, sustainability and regional anaesthesia.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in a 1:10 on‑call rota and manage 10 programmed activities.
  • Provide critical care support in the theatre, critical care or obstetrics units.
  • Engage in existing quality improvement projects and propose new initiatives to improve or develop new work streams.
  • Contribute to simulation training, perioperative fasting and anticoagulant management and support specialty doctor career development.
Qualifications
  • General experience in anaesthetics, obstetrics and critical care at specialty doctor or trainee grade.
  • Experience with regional anaesthesia and leadership roles is advantageous.
  • Willingness to modify the draft job plan to accommodate specific commitments or skills.
