A leading educational staffing agency is seeking Specialist Teaching Assistants in Carlisle to support pupils with additional needs such as SEN and SEMH. Candidates should have experience with phonics interventions and the ability to implement EHCPs and IEPs. Competitive hourly pay of £13.75 – £14.50 is offered along with flexible contract options. Due to high demand, we are seeking Specialist Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including:
You will work in inclusive primary and secondary schools, providing 1:1 and small group support, implementing EHCPs and IEPs, and adapting learning materials to meet individual needs. Roles may involve supporting pupils with communication difficulties (PECs), managing behaviour, and delivering targeted interventions.
