The CCN Team at Chadsgrove SEND Services for your School are seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly motivated specialist teacher. We are looking for an exceptional practitioner to work within our Complex Communication Needs (CCN)/Autism Team. The successful candidate will communicate and collaborate effectively with our mainstream partnership schools, providing specialist assessments, advice, and support to help them meet the needs of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). You will work closely with a wide range of professionals, offering assessments, information, advice, and training to enable pupils to access and thrive within mainstream education.
This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments for statutory, diagnostic, and school-based purposes with children and young people (CYP) who have autism and complex communication needs. You will play a key role in supporting the Local Authority’s Graduated Response, offering expert guidance and working collaboratively with schools, SENCOs, and other professionals to develop and implement effective strategies and interventions.
This is a peripatetic role, requiring travel across Worcestershire. Flexible working arrangements are available, with some aspects of the role suitable for home-based work.
