  • Position: Specialist Grill / Tandoori Chef De Partie
  • Employer: Large Multi Cuisine Restaurant
  • Location: Edinburgh
  • Gross OTE salary package: Circa £34,000 (incl. share of tronc/serv.chge + target led bonus)
  • Weekly hours: up to 48 hours / 5 days (to be confirmed)

Responsibilities

Your role involves skillful preparation of complex Grill / Tandoori dishes and specialties specific to the regional theme of the establishment and its menus. You will be responsible for a series of kitchen operational duties commensurate with the job role, including training and supervising of Commi Chefs and other junior kitchen staff, and assisting in the company\'s impending apprenticeship scheme.

Qualifications
  • Eligibility to live and work in UK
  • Experience in the preparation of authentic high quality Grill/ Tandoori dishes & specialties
  • Technical knowledge of ingredient quality, sourcing, measuring & formulation
  • Industrial training in a world renowned culinary/hospitality institute
  • Ideal previous experience of at least 3 years in the role
  • Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols
  • Resident within commutable distance of up to one hour
