A healthcare provider is looking for a Band 6 Speech & Language Therapist to join their dynamic team for a term-time contract. The role involves assessment, advice, and intervention for primary schools. Applicants should have experience working with children with speech and language difficulties and be knowledgeable about NHS policies. This position offers a salary between £38,682 to £46,580 per annum, pro-rata.
Band 6 paediatric SLT 2 days term time only. This is a 1 yearfixed term contract to cover a maternity leave. There is another 2 day b6 jobavailable in the dept on NHS jobs

The post holder would ideally have experience working withchildren with developmental speech and language delays and disorders andpreferably have experience working in a school environment collaborativelyworking with educational professionals to help meet the schools individualSpeech Language and Communication needs
To provide a service to mainstream schools working to agreedtargets with the schools :working at universal, targeted and specialist level.

Caseloads are divided into specialist teams to ensure thatall therapists working with similar client groups are part of a strongsupporting team. This post sits within the Traded schools SLT teams. Thedepartment offers a formal mentoring, peer support and a Personal DevelopmentReview system which ensures that training and learning needs can be identifiedand met appropriately.
