Job summary

A NHS healthcare provider in the United Kingdom is seeking an autonomous practitioner skilled in the assessment and management of dysphagia and communication conditions. Qualifications

Job description

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in the assessment and management of a shared dysphagia and acquiredcommunication caseload, as an autonomous practitioner. They will have experience in managing complex presentations and conditions, andtherefore post graduate dysphagia training is desirable.

They will be able to work collaboratively with the relevant MDTs to deliver goal focused, person centred, integrated therapy to individuals and their relatives.

The individual will benefit from access to clinical supervision, peer supervision and regular in-service training. It is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic, supportive and 'CPD active' SLT team.

Exciting service developments include the use of sEMG and MBSImP. The service also runs weekly videofluoroscopy clinics and outpatient FEESclinic.
