The post offers excellent training in managing a wide range of rheumatological conditions. Based within the Rheumatology Unit at Kettering General Hospital, the post-holder will join a dynamic team of 4 Consultants, 1 GP trainee/SHO, 1 FY1 (shared with Dermatology), and 6 Nurse Practitioners. Duties include outpatient clinics, timely review of inpatient referrals, and liaising with junior staff to support delivery of biological therapies and infusions. The role is fully supervised by consultants, with opportunities for teaching Leicester medical students, participating in weekly departmental meetings, audits, and regional forums such as the Midlands Rheumatology Society.
Applicants must ensure professional registration is maintained and comply with Trust policies on safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection. A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check is required.
