A leading healthcare provider in London is seeking an enthusiastic Orthoptist to join their orthoptic team. This permanent, full-time role based at Whipps Cross Hospital offers the chance to work with a close-knit multidisciplinary team and provides opportunities in pediatric and adult services. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Orthoptics and the ability to work autonomously while participating in educational activities.
An exciting opportunity has become available with a vacancy within our orthoptic team. We are a friendly team looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Orthoptist to join us from October 2025. This is a permanent, full-time post. You will be based at Whipps Cross Hospital and have an interesting mix of paediatric and adult hospital and community clinic & special schools with training opportunities within extended roles.
Our Whipps Cross team consists of a close-knit multidisciplinary team consisting of full-time and part-time 9 Orthoptists, 16 Optometrists, 13 consultants across paediatrics and adult services, a nursing team including HCAs, ECLOs, photography and administrative teams.
There will be opportunities to work with the wider MDT teams including quality improvement, AHP and governance teams.
