A National Health Service in Shrewsbury is seeking an experienced Specialist Occupational Therapist for a winter escalation ward. The role involves assessing and managing complex patients alongside multidisciplinary teams. Candidates must be registered with the Health and Care Professional Council and have NHS experience. This position provides opportunities for clinical supervision and professional development. The salary ranges from £38,682 to £46,580 per annum pro rata.

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for an opportunity to utilise and develop your clinical skills & leadership abilities? If so, our Specialist Occupational Therapy position may be perfect for you.
The successful candidate will work within the medical team on the winter escalation ward, which is expected to be open from December '25 to March '26.
You will work alongside other occupational therapists, physiotherapists and therapy support workers. The team covers care of the elderly, gastroenterology, respiratory and general medical wards. These wards are fast paced with a high turnover of patients, and would therefore require a dynamic and holistic individual.
All of our specialist Occupational Therapists receive supervision and mentorship from a member of our highly specialist team who will offer direction in terms of clinical and leadership development.
