A community health services trust in Reading is seeking a Specialist Community Dietitian (Band 6) for a full-time role. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload, provide specialist dietetic treatments, and support junior staff development. This position offers opportunities for continuous professional growth and is focused on delivering quality care through innovative methods. Specialist Community Dietitian Band 6
Reading, Berkshire, Full time (37.5hrs) - job share can be considered
The Paediatric Community Dietetic Service based in Tilehurst, Reading - has an opportunity to offer a permanent full time paediatric Band 6 role.
The post holder will be covering a varied community caseload, including clinics across Berkshire seeing patients for fussy eating / CMPA / Gastro issues / faltering growth along with other dietetic concerns. There are also opportunities to develop experience and skills in other areas of community dietetics as well as line managing and mentoring junior staff.
We are a mobile working service and offer our patients the choice of face-to-face, virtual and phone appointments as well as home visits. To support this, we have excellent IT access and support staff home-working where appropriate.
As a team we strongly value continuing professional development and offer an employee-led appraisal process and personal development plan. We will support you to develop your ideas for research and audit and offer collaboration and training with our Research & Development and Clinical Effectiveness teams. We also engage in student training and facilitate teaching opportunities.
We are continually striving to improve the service we offer our patients and embrace new ways of working via our Quality Improvement System (QMIS).
