Job description

Overview

To work cross site as a professional senior cardiac physiologist providing an efficient and effective specialist clinical service within the field of Cardiology ensuring high standards of patient care. Perform and supervise a range of diagnostic cardiac investigations providing accurate information aiding diagnosis and treatment. Interpret evaluate and report patients test results, such as ambulatory ECG's. Operate specialist equipment and ensure accurate and reliable test results, providing technical leadership to ensure high standards of patient care. Work independently and be able to supervise and troubleshoot in the cardiac catheter lab in procedures such as but not limited to coronary angiography and pacemaker implants. To be a role model in leadership creating an inclusive and compassionate culture for the Trust. Liaise with other physiologists to facilitate a seamless programme of care to patients and service to medical staff. Demonstrate regular formal evaluation and participation in QA.

Take a lead in mentoring the degree students.
