Job Title: Teaching Assistant - SEN
Contract Type: Full-Time | Term-Time Only
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Join a dedicated and welcoming team whose mission is to make learning accessible and meaningful for every child. Located in your local community, this inclusive setting supports around 25 pupils with moderate to severe SEN, including Autism, communication difficulties, and complex behavioural needs.

The school prides itself on its modern facilities, strong leadership, and investment in staff development. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personalised support to pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support learners with a range of SEN needs

  • Help create a safe and supportive classroom environment

  • Encourage engagement, independence, and confidence in every child

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience in an SEN or care setting (desirable)

  • Maths and English GCSEs (Grade C or equivalent)

  • Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided)

  • DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others
