Your Role and Responsibilities

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be an integral part of the support system for students with diverse learning needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Direct Student Support: Providing one-on-one and small-group assistance to students, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Encouraging Well-being: Supporting student\'s social and emotional development while encouraging their academic engagement.
  • Effective Collaboration: Working closely with teachers and parents to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitoring Progress: Maintaining detailed records of student progress and behaviour to inform future support strategies.
Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • DBS Check: A valid Enhanced DBS check, preferably registered with the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for a new one.
