Job description

Overview

Location: Bewaldeth. We are looking for a Spa Therapist to join our team at Keswick Reach Lodge Retreat in Cockermouth, Cumbria. Hourly rate of £12.21 plus commission. This is a maternity cover position to work part-time hours. This will be 24 hours across 3 days which will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Typical shift times will be 9:30am - 6pm or 11:30am - 8pm. Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business. On-site staff accommodation is available for the right candidate.

Main responsibilities

• Perform a range of treatments on guests from our treatment menu, majority will be massage based.
• Answer queries and book appointments, advise guests on suitable treatments
• Ensure that the salon is appealing to guests.
• Actively work to help promote the spa.
• Upsell beauty products and treatments where appropriate.
• Ensure client confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

Previous salon experience is desired. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Beauty Therapy is essential for this position. The successful candidate will need to have excellent customer service and strong communication skills.

Desired Criteria

• A driving licence and the ability to drive is an advantage to enable easy travel to and from the resort
• Previous salon experience is desired
