A well-established language services provider is seeking a freelance interpreter proficient in Somali, Swahili, and English. You will facilitate communication in legal, healthcare, and social service settings and maintain professionalism and confidentiality. Experience in interpreting is preferred, along with a valid DBS check and eligibility for self-employment in the UK. This role offers flexible hours and competitive rates.

Qualifications

  • Ability to travel to on-site assignments.
  • Internet access and email for remote assignments.
  • Commitment to accurate, confidential, and impartial service.
  • Preferably qualified under Legal Aid Agency guidelines.

The Role

As a freelance interpreter, you will:

  • Work on an ad-hoc basis with flexibility to accept assignments that suit your availability
Requirements
