Solicitor / Legal Executive - Industrial Disease

Experienced Fee Earner - This Legal 500 Law firm is seeking an experienced fee earner to join its specialist disease litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a unique and technical area of litigation, focusing on defending various disease claims.

Title: Solicitor or Legal Executive

Location: Remote

Salary: Up to £55,000

Previous Experience: Background in disease claims

About the Role

The successful candidate will handle a variety of Employer's Liability & Public Liability Disease claims, including respiratory and lung diseases, skin diseases, vibration injuries, and occupational cancers, including asbestos-related diseases.

The firm has an impressive client base, including insurers, reinsurers, TPAs, local authorities, and corporates. Experience in disease claims is highly desirable.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting investigations, witness statements, and reviewing medical records and reports
• Collaborating with a large, experienced disease team
• Handling work on behalf of insurers, reinsurers, and government authorities

The ideal candidate
