Overview

We have an amazing opportunity for a highly accomplished Conveyancing Solicitor or Legal Adviser to join our Eastbourne team. You will be based at our brand new modern hub in central Eastbourne, working with a fantastic team of experienced legal professionals. We are looking for someone with ambition and drive to join our team. You are likely to have around 8+ years PQE and enthusiasm to take on a real career opportunity. You will have proven experience of working on a range of complex matters, providing exceptional service to your clients.

Responsibilities
  • Handle a wide range of residential property work, including large and complex matters
  • Engage with prospective legal clients, produce matter estimates and pre-instruction documentation
  • Produce written advice to clients and the required legal documents to progress and conclude their matter
  • Exercise high standards of client care in a professional and pleasant manner at all times
  • Work with marketing strategies to attract new clients and develop relationships with current clients
  • Assist and supervise more junior fee earners/paralegals, delegating appropriate work to paralegals
  • Manage workload effectively, knowing when to delegate and when to request additional input to provide the best client service
  • Understand clients as business partners and recognise what is key for them
  • Demonstrate proven business development experience with the ability to build strong professional relationships
About you / Qualifications
  • 8+ years PQE with enthusiasm to take on a real career opportunity
  • Experience in a wide range of complex Residential Property work
  • Ability to manage workload, delegate appropriately, and seek input when needed
  • Strong client-focused approach and understanding of clients as business partners
