Job summary

A leading renewable energy company is looking for an Experienced Solar Project Manager to join their construction team in Sheffield. The successful candidate will manage the entire project lifecycle from development through to execution, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors on multi-MW solar sites. Essential skills include knowledge of solar construction, stakeholder management, and risk management. A valid CSCS Supervision card is required. This role involves traveling to sites across the South West of England.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing construction projects in the solar or battery sectors.
• Proficiency in construction design and management processes.
• Awareness of contractual obligations within construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead solar project development through EPC stages to execution.
• Manage multi-MW site construction and subcontractor interfaces.
• Travel to and manage various construction sites.

Job description

My Client is resourcing for an Experienced Solar Project Manager to join and become a key component of there construction team. You will lead phase from development, through EPC stage until project execution. You will effectively manage the construction of multi-MW sites by handling the interface between my clients project managers, engineers and procurement people, and the numerous construction subcontractors on site.

Skills and Experience

• In depth knowledge of Solar and / or Battery construction and / or design
• Construction project management or design project management expertise
• Understanding of construction contracts and contractual obligations
• Key stakeholder management
• Strong understanding of risk management
• Strong understanding of HSE
• Strong time management skills
• A CSCS Supervision card is required

The sites are situated throughout the South West of England, and the role will require travelling to and from various sites.
