Job summary

A leading security software provider is seeking an experienced engineer to manage zSeries products and provide solutions for LDAPX escalations. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of IBM assembler programming, RACF, and zOS installation. You will be responsible for analyzing and creating necessary fixes while managing system environments. This role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience and a strong problem-solving ability, with beneficial skills including TCP/IP stack and LDAP on zOS.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IBM assembler programming experience, preferably 10+ years.
• Strong knowledge of RACF installation and programming.
• Expertise in zOS installation and zVM SYSPROG skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle zSeries products and LDAPX escalations from support.
• Create fixes for issues as per fix creation procedures.
• Manage the HDISV environment and apply system customizations.

Responsibilities

Deal with zSeries products and LDAPX excalations from support. Analyze cause of problems and give solutions to customers.

If required create necessary fixes for problems as per fix creation procedures – assembler load fixes or NC panel fixes. For LDAPX , correct and re-compile C code. Perform testing of any fixes.

Manage HDISV environment, include re-applying system customizations on any new zOS images

Provide support for iSereis(AS400) environment. Provide test users and change passords if required.
