Job summary

A technology solutions provider in the Greater London area is looking for a Consultant skilled in PeopleSoft development. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience with PeopleTools 8.5x, adept at building unit tests and understanding functional designs. Responsibilities include independent conversion of designs and identifying technical issues during the application process. A thorough understanding of all software development phases is essential, with exposure to PeopleSoft HCM and ELM being advantageous.

Qualifications

• At least 4 to 6 years of PeopleSoft development experience.
• Good understanding of Online, batch and reporting development.
• Hands-on experience in advanced PeopleTools.

Responsibilities

• Convert the functional design into PeopleSoft application independently.

Job Description & Requirements

Consultant shall be responsible for converting the functional design into PeopleSoft application in an independent way. The developer is expected to understand the design and highlight any technical issues in achieving the design. He/she is also expected to build unit test scripts and perform unit testing.

• At least 4 to 6 years of PeopleSoft development experience using PeopleTools 8.5x with good understanding of Online, batch and reporting development. Exposure to PeopleSoft HCM and ELM is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience in PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component interfaces, File layouts, PS Queries, XMLP is a must.
• Exposure to advanced PeopleTools like Integration broker, Fluid UI, Pivot grids, Connected queries is advantageous.
• Exposure to and good understanding of all phases of software development is necessary.
