Location: 656 Windmill Road, Dartmouth, NS B3B 1B8 (On site)

Salary: $43.00/hr (30 hours per week)

Employment: Permanent, full time, day shift

Overview

Design, develop and maintain computer-based systems. Conduct full lifecycle software development, usability testing, security and quality controls, and coordinate implementation.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and document user requirements
  • Coordinate development, installation, integration and operation of computer-based systems
  • Define system functionality
  • Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify solutions
  • Develop software solutions through analysis of systems flow, data usage and work processes
  • Evaluate performance and reliability of system designs
  • Evaluate user feedback
  • Execute full‑lifecycle software development
  • Plan integration steps for a computer-based system
  • Prepare maintenance plans
