A leading independent school in Surrey, close to West Sussex and Kent borders are seeking an engaging and passionate Sociology Teacher. This is a full time and permanent position from September 2026.

Pupils are described as self-confident and generous in spirit at this thriving and outstanding academic independent school. Children are encouraged to take ownership of their learning and are provided with an extensive extracurricular programme in order for them to find and develop unique talents and interests.

This role will entail teaching Sociology at GCSE and A level. The Head is looking for someone who is passionate about Sociology and is able to pass on their enthusiasm to others and teach bright and academic pupils. You will have experience of teaching Sociology to A level and want to contribute to the wider life of the school.
