All about our Team

Our teams, which includes our Exploitation and Missing Team, work alongside children aged 12-17 years who are assessed as being at risk from exploitation, mental health, edge of care, homelessness, substance misuse, and other risks outside the home. We are a diverse and dedicated team of professionals who provide a supportive environment for colleagues and encourage creativity in our work with young people. We adopt a Trauma Informed approach and utilise our psychologists within the team to support our work. The voice of the child is central to all we do and we endeavour to get alongside families and utilise their family network with our support wherever possible.

You will be joining a team full of energy, curiosity and a whole lot of experience! We need you to come on board and share your knowledge and skills with us and collectively we will continue our journey to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people within our local community.

At Peterborough, the Housing, Children with Disabilities, Adult Social Care, Legal and other teams are all easily accessed within a purpose-built office, which benefits from large river and green space views and a city centre location that is also close to main road and rail transport links.
