Responsibilities

• Manage caseloads of 15-20 children and families within the Safeguarding and Care Planning Service.
• Undertake assessments and develop Child in Need or Child Protection Plans.
• Work jointly with the Court Team when necessary, including care proceedings cases.
• Attend weekly Legal Gateway meetings to discuss cases and make informed safeguarding decisions.
• Liaise with families and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children.
• Utilise the Bromley Relationship Model to build empowering relationships with families.
• Keep detailed records and prepare reports for case discussions and court presentations.
