A local council service in Nuneaton is seeking a full-time Social Worker to join their Family Help Team. The role involves working with families in need of support, conducting assessments, and developing action plans. The ideal candidate will possess a professional social work qualification and have experience handling complex cases. Salary ranges up to £46,208 with additional benefits and a supportive work environment.
About the Team:
We work are a Family Help Team and work with a range of families including those in need of Family Help Assessment, Targeted Early Support, Children in Need, those who are on the Edge of Care or Child Protection and Court, and children in care until they have a plan of permanency outside of their parents care or with a plan of reunification home. Our Family Help Team is multi-agency with Family Support Worker, Family Practitioners, Social Workers, Systemic Consultants, PCSO's and soon NHS Nurse - all working together to meet the holistic needs to our families to reduce risk and keep families together.
We work with families under the principles of Restorative Practice to identify plans which meet each individual family's needs and is used with every family, to help them identify positive change in order to develop a plan that works for them. We are recruiting for the role of a Social Worker in our Assessment Team covering Nuneaton & Bedworth on a full time/permanent basis.
The Family Help team are based at The Hilary Road Centre, Hilary Road, Nuneaton
As part of the market supplement:
Newly Qualified Social Worker/ASYE:
Up to £41,438.00per annum. Including a £3,500 pro-rated market supplement, which is subject to tax and NI deductions - T&C's apply. (Relocation Allowance up to £8,000 may be availableif the relevant policy criteria are met– T&C's apply.)
Experienced Social Worker - Grade K, L:
Up to £46,208.00 per annum. Including a £3,500 pro-rated market supplement which is subject to pension, tax and NI deductions - T&C's apply. (Relocation Allowance up to £8,000 may be availableif the relevant policy criteria are met– T&C's apply.)

Key Requirements:
Working hours – 37 hrs per week, with agile and flexible working options generally worked from 9am till 5.30 pm Monday – Thursday and 9am to 5pm on Fridays.
Applicants for the role will need a professional Social Work qualification and Social Work England Registration.
