What you will do

• Manage and hold child protection cases efficiently and effectively.
• Engage in clear and effective communication with a wide range of professionals and vulnerable families.
• Chair multi-agency core group meetings with the ability to present and complete reports using the Signs of Safety approach.
• Undertake s.47 enquiries, conducting thorough child protection investigations and preparing detailed reports.
• Craft court reports, presenting evidence confidently in court settings.
• Cover duty work as required within the team.
• Utilise your knowledge of the MOSAIC system to support case management.
• Be prepared to travel across Cornwall, with your own transport being essential due to the role’s requirements.

The successful candidate will ideally bring a wealth of experience in child protection, court work, and supporting children in care. This initial 12-week post offers the potential for extension.
