About the Role

This is a fast-paced and demanding role where you will be at the forefront of protecting vulnerable adults. We are looking for an individual who can "hit the ground running" and immediately contribute to our team's critical work. A key and essential part of this role is your proven, practical experience as an Enquiry Officer, managing complex safeguarding cases from start to finish.

Key Requirements
  • Extensive Adult Safeguarding Experience: You must have a strong and grounded background in adult safeguarding.
  • Complex Care Safeguarding: Proven experience in managing complex care safeguarding cases is essential.
  • Enquiry Officer Expertise: It is a necessity that candidates have practical, on-the-ground experience as an Enquiry Officer, leading and managing complex safeguarding inquiries.
  • Legislative Knowledge: You must have a comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, including but not limited to the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
  • Defensive Social Work Practice: A commitment to professional and defensive social work practice is paramount, ensuring all actions are robust, well-documented, and legally sound.

The ideal candidate will be a confident and knowledgeable social worker who can work autonomously and effectively within a busy hub environment.
