Position Overview
The Social Media Marketing Officer will be responsible for managing Smart Move Education Group’s online presence, crafting engaging content and building meaningful connections with our community across multiple digital platforms. This role is perfect for someone who is both a storyteller and a strategist—able to design original, high-quality content while driving growth and engagement online.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, plan and implement effective social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and reach.
- Create compelling, on-brand content including graphics, photos, videos, blogs, and written posts tailored to each platform (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
- Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling and monitoring of all social media channels.
- Track and analyze performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions) and prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates and industry best practices to keep content innovative and relevant.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and sales teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Engage with online communities by responding to comments, messages and mentions in a timely, authentic way.
- Support in developing and executing paid campaigns, including social ads, promotions and influencer collaborations when required.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist, Content Creator or similar role.
- Strong creative skills in content writing, photography and video editing.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms and tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Basic knowledge of SEO and social media algorithms.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to new trends and bring fresh ideas.
