Overview

Social Media Content Specialist

We’re on the lookout for a passionate and detail-oriented Social Media Content Specialist to join the Bamboo Nine Team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience in managing, creating and implementing organic social media plans for client(s), whether in-house or in an agency. This role is suited to a creative and analytical digital native who is immersed in the fast-paced and ever-evolving world of social media.

Responsibilities
  • Content ideation, creation across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest and YouTube.
  • Community management – driving growth and engagement with B2B and B2C audiences across industries such as Automotive, retail, home and garden, jewellery and professional industries surrounding accessibility and pest control.
  • Working with SEO and our content team to implement a cohesive Keyword social strategy in line with their organic objectives
  • Driving Organic Social Media strategies that can be aligned with cross-channel strategies (Paid Social, Paid Media, Website UX, SEO, Content and design) to complement each other.
  • On-site content creation days for clients using Mobile phones for social-first content, with an understanding of using lighting and sound equipment to provide high-quality outputs
  • Understanding of organic social media strategy and how to implement it using Platform best practices and key performance indicators from channel learnings and make recommendations based on this.
  • Client relationship management
  • Social media schedule management, to ensure content plans are implemented in a timely manner and to highest standard – with a meticulous attention to detail in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate the value of social media marketing to our client base through presentations both face to face and over video, including key decision makers and senior stakeholders
  • Be a social media advocate, internally and externally curious about latest social media changes, trends and cultural moments and applying these to both Bamboo Nines owned channels and clients.
  • Experienced in Influencer outreach and campaigns, as well as working closely the PR team to deliver both gifted and paid influencer campaigns.
Key skills
  • Proven ability to manage social media business accounts.
  • Well-versed in a variety of social media platforms including Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest and YouTube.
  • A slick writer with the ability to craft engaging posts.
  • Strong Google Analytics skills.
  • Proficient with project management software e.g. TeamWork
  • Experience in Canva or other social media first design softwares.
  • Video editing
  • An understanding of SEO is a must to help drive social search strategies
