Job description

This is a fixed-term role; Summer School runs between 12th July and 9th August 2026 with inductions being held from 8th to 11th July. The role will require the appointee to be residential for the duration of Summer School, which will involve some boarding duties, as well as involvement in excursions and social activities as required.

Felsted is a leading day and boarding independent school based in a stunning village campus in North Essex. Founded in 1564 by Richard Lord Riche, who had been a Lord Chancellor under King Edward VI.

Felsted today provides an exceptional holistic education to approximately 1100 students aged four to eighteen.

We are excited to be running our twelfth on-site Summer School in 2026. Operating during the School Summer Holidays for four weeks, the programme offers students a wide range of academic, sporting and cultural opportunities for c500 students aged 8-17 from every corner of the world. To run our successful and well-established programme, we need creative, enthusiastic and well qualified staff to work with us.

We are looking for Social Media Content Creators to capture and showcase the energy of the Summer School experience by creating dynamic, engaging, and student-focused content. This role supports the Summer School ethos by documenting lessons, activities, clubs, sports, social events, and excursions through creative storytelling across digital platforms.
