Social Care Worker - Personal Assistant

Personal Assistant/ Milton of Campsie

We are looking to recruit a patient, reliable, fun-loving Personal Assistant who can support our physically fit and active 12 year old son who has a learning disability and autism. He has limited verbal communication but is responsive to basic instructions.

Your role will

Primarily be to support Alex at home and occasionally going for walks around our local community.

We would like to hear from people who have experience of supporting children and young people with additional needs.

Working hours and pay

6 hours per week during the school holidays. We can be flexible re days/hours worked and are happy to discuss further with interested applicants (contact number 0141 776 2219).

Rate of pay: £13.60.

Other requirements

• Able to drive and have own transport desirable.
• PVG Scheme membership required by successful applicant.
• GCIL East Dunbartonshire are not the employer.
