Overview

Please note this is not a Swansea city council job. You will be working with a private client who received direct payments.

A little about myself: I’m a 28-year-old neurodivergent woman living in Swansea. I have FND and my main symptoms are chronic fatigue and seizures. This also means I have good and bad days. I spend most of my time at home where I enjoy reading, watching television, or doing something creative. I attend an exercise class and a support group when I am able.

I am looking for a PA to help me get out and about and do more activities. I would also like batch cook or go shopping to make sure I have the ingredients to cook a healthy meal.

  • Driver required to take me out.

Hours and Pay

Hours of work: 10 hours a week to be discussed

Rate of pay: £13.13

Essential
  • I need you to:
    • Drive, to be able to take me out in the community.
Desirable
  • I’d prefer if you have previous experience.

  • Going out in the community.

Concerning the position

A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis). A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
