Overview

SME New Business Broker - Yorkshire / Hybrid Role

Fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected independent insurance broker in the West Yorkshire area. They have been growing consistently over the last few years, which has opened up a wide range of exciting new roles within their commercial insurance division. This is a great team, a very professional and enjoyable working environment with plenty of flexibility and part office / part home working available.

Responsibilities
  • Deal with mainly SME commercial clients, with annual premium spends up to £10k, and opportunities to work on larger cases with annual premiums up to circa £25k.
  • This is a new business role; all enquiries are incoming (no outbound or cold calling) and are connected to various schemes of specific distribution channels.
  • Respond to a wide variety of new business enquiries, take initial details, go to market to find the best deals.
  • Utilise (where available) the Acturis system; previous use would be beneficial.
Qualifications
  • Ideal applicants will have at least 12 months commercial insurance experience, preferably broking; applications from underwriters will also be considered.
