Qualifications

• Must have a Bodyshop or Smart Repair qualification.
• Experience with Diamond Cut Alloy machine is an advantage.
• Must own hand-tools and have a full UK Driver’s licence.

Smart Repair Technician – Renault Hayes

Renault Hayes is recruiting a Vehicle Smart Repairer to join our dealership’s workshop in Hayes, UB3.

Overview

As a Smart Repairer, you will carry out cosmetic repairs on motor vehicles to the highest standards. Your work will involve delivering skilful and accurate first‑time fixes within set repair/paint times, ensuring complete customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scratch, chip and scuff repair, paintless dent removal and alloy wheel refurbishment on customer vehicles.
• Identify additional faults and recommend further repairs in line with dealership and manufacturer factory standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bodyshop or Smart Repair qualification (Diamond Cut Alloy machine experience is an advantage).
• Own hand‑tools, protective footwear and a full UK Driver’s licence.
• Willingness to work training on wheel lathe, paint stock, consumables and PPE provided.

Hours & Pay

Mon – Fri 8:30am to 5:30pm with a 30‑minute lunch break, plus 1-in‑3 Saturday mornings on rota, 8:30am to 12:30pm.

Basic salary £40,000 pa + £1,954 pa for Saturday overtime. Consistent monthly bonus scheme allows earnings between £500 and £730 per month, bringing OTE to approximately £54,000 pa.
