The role

As a Project Manager in Smart Buildings, you will be pivotal in delivering complex building controls projects from inception to completion. You'll manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

You will
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary project teams, including engineers, subcontractors and support staff, to achieve project objectives and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with sales and business development teams to scope new projects, and support bids for retrofit and new build construction opportunities.
  • Manage project budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure commercial compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for project delivery.
You have
  • Proven experience delivering Smart Buildings or BEMS projects, managing project budgets, forecasting costs, and reporting on financial performance.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, able to motivate and coordinate diverse teams to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to secure buy-in at all levels and foster a collaborative, solutions-driven culture.
  • Commercial awareness, with the ability to translate operational data into actionable insights and present compelling business cases.
  • Demonstrated success in client account management, developing long-term partnerships, and contributing to business growth strategies.
