Qualifications

• A keen eye for perfection and commitment to delivering flawless finishes.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sand, mask, and prime surfaces for optimal paint adhesion.
• Apply 2K primers, coats, and lacquers to trailer components.
• Inspect finished products for defects and correct paint thickness.
• Clean and maintain spray equipment and spray booths.
• Follow COSHH guidelines and health and safety protocols.

About Montracon

Montracon is a leading trailer manufacturer based in Doncaster, known for our commitment to quality and innovation. We’re expanding our team and are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Paint Sprayer to join our dynamic production team.

The Role

As a Skilled Paint Sprayer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our trailers are finished to the highest standards, both in aesthetics and protection. You will be responsible for applying coatings to trailer chassis and maintaining the quality of the final product.

Key Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, mask, and prime surfaces for optimal paint adhesion.
• Spraying: Apply 2K primers, coats, and lacquers to trailer components.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products, checking for defects, consistency, and correct paint thickness, with touch‑ups as necessary.
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain spray equipment, spray booths, and mixing areas.
• Health & Safety: Follow all COSHH guidelines and health and safety protocols.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience as a paint sprayer in a manufacturing or body shop environment.
• Skills: Proficient in 2K spray equipment, including air assist, pressure pots, and suction guns.

Working Hours

This role is fulltime on-site.
